ATLANTA -- Some things never seem to change. When it comes to Duke vs. Georgia Tech, the Blue Devils still rule.
Luol Deng scored a career-high 22 points and No. 1 Duke extended its winning streak to 15 games with an 82-74 victory Saturday over 14th-ranked Georgia Tech, which hasn't beaten the Blue Devils since 1996.
No. 2 Stanford 83, Oregon 80
EUGENE, Ore. -- Chris Hernandez scored all of his 22 points in the second half and led Stanford back from a 19-point deficit to beat Oregon.
Stanford (18-0, 9-0 Pac-10) remains one of just two undefeated Division I teams in the nation.
No. 3 Saint Joseph's 83, Temple 71
PHILADELPHIA -- Jameer Nelson and Delonte West each had 21 points, and Saint Joseph's set an Atlantic 10 record with 20 3-pointers to remain unbeaten.
Pat Carroll scored 20 and Chet Stachitas added 12 for the Hawks (18-0, 8-0), who extended their school-record winning streak to 18.
Marquette 77, No. 4 Louisville 70
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Steve Novak made eight 3-pointers and scored a career-high 30 points in Rick Pitino's first game back with the Cardinals following a two-day medical leave.
Travis Diener added 17 points and seven assists as the Golden Eagles (13-5, 4-3 Conference USA) snapped Louisville's 16-game winning streak. Novak also had eight rebounds.
Marquette also ended Louisville's 16-game winning streak at Freedom Hall, which dated to the Golden Eagles' 78-73 victory here last Feb. 27.
Luke Whitehead had 14 points and a career-high 19 rebounds for Louisville (16-2, 6-1), which shot a season-low 33 percent (21-for-64) and went 5-for-34 from 3-point range (15 percent).
Vanderbilt 66, No. 5 Kentucky 60
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Dan Cage hit a 3-pointer with 2:18 left that gave Vanderbilt the lead for good, and the Commodores held on to upset Kentucky. Kentucky (14-3, 4-2) had its 10-game road winning streak in the Southeastern Conference snapped. The last time the Wildcats lost away from Rupp Arena in the SEC was Feb. 27, 2002 -- in Memorial Gym to Vanderbilt.
No. 6 Connecticut 63, Boston College 58
BOSTON -- Emeka Okafor and Rashad Anderson scored 16 points each as sixth-ranked Connecticut held off Boston College in the last three minutes.
The Huskies, who had dropped from first in the nation by losing two of their previous four games, took the lead for good, 55-53, on Taliek Brown's layup with 2:42 left.
Josh Boone got his first rebound and basket off Brown's missed free throw, giving Connecticut a 60-56 lead with 23 seconds remaining. Anderson sealed the win with two free throws with 4.1 seconds left and Craig Smith's long shot went off the rim at the buzzer for BC.
Charlotte 86, No. 8 Cincinnati 83
CINCINNATI -- Curtis Withers made a pair of free throws with 45 seconds left to seal Charlotte's upset of Cincinnati.
It was Charlotte's first victory in 10 tries in Cincinnati.
Charlotte (13-5, 5-2 Conference USA) led most of the way but had to stave off several late rallies. Nick Williams tried to tie the game as the buzzer sounded, but his 3-point shot banged off the back of the rim.
Brendan Plavich finished with 17 points for Charlotte, and Withers had 15. Demon Brown and Eddie Basden had 13 apiece, and Martin Iti had 11.
Kareem Johnson led Cincinnati with 15 points, Tony Bobbitt had 14 and Williams, Eric Hicks and Jason Maxiell all had 11
No. 9 Arizona 61,Washington St. 57
PULLMAN, Wash. -- Channing Frye hit a short jumper with 58 seconds left to help Arizona.
Arizona (14-4, 6-3 Pac-10), coming off a shocking 96-83 loss at Washington on Thursday, was held to its lowest point total of the season. They came into the game averaging 88 points a game, tops in the nation.
Frye scored 17 points as Arizona won its 37th straight over Washington State.
