ICL/TCL GIRLS Crestview still in the hunt for crown after 64-43 win
SEBRING -- Katie Kibby, Bri Phillis and Elyse Mongillo scored 17, 16 and 11 points, respectively, as the Crestview High girls basketball team remained in the hunt for the Tri-County League title with a 64-43 win over Sebring Monday.
The Rebels (13-2, 8-1) scored 22 points in the first quarter and took a 39-20 halftime lead.
Rachel Hawkins scored 18 points and Erika Eaton added 10 points for the Trojans (3-12, 2-7).
Columbiana 60, United 44
HANOVERTON -- Cara Hardenbrook and Lisa Simon each scored 17 points to lead Columbiana.
Carly Washinko added 12 points for the Clippers (14-1, 9-0 TCL).
Krista Reeder scored 10 points for United (7-8, 2-7), while Danielle Altenhof and Katy Miller each added 10.
McDonald 55, South Range 49
MCDONALD -- Sophomore Ashleigh Tondo collected 22 points, including 11 in the fourth quarter, and she had nine assists for the Blue Devils (9-6, 5-4 Inter-County League).
Ashshena Stephens added 12 points and eight rebounds while Michelle Krumpak had 10 points.
Kelly Skrinyer led the Raiders (8-7, 6-3) with 13 points.
McDonald led 35-34 after three quarters.
Jackson-Milton 58,Mineral Ridge 27
NORTH JACKSON -- The Bluejays (7-7, 4-4 ICL) were in command 29-15 at the break.
Sarah Johnson sparked Jackson-Milton with 22 points. Rachel Karash added 15.
Jenna Hinks and Brady Hall led the Rams (2-12, 0-8) with six points apiece.
