GIRLS BASKETBALL Grant, Davidson lead way as Ursuline defeats Chaney
YOUNGSTOWN -- Tyra Grant scored 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the visiting Ursuline High girls basketball team past Chaney, 78-26, on Monday.
Courtney Davidson added 19 points and 10 assists for the Irish (15-2), while Rebecca Slattery had 11 points.
Lavielle Trevathan had six points to lead Chaney (4-13).
Warren Harding 50,Ashtabula Lakeside 39
ASHTABULA -- Desirae Jenkins scored 25 points as Warren Harding outscored Lakeside 26-13 in the second half to pull away.
Labrea Crawford added 10 points and 12 rebounds for the Raiders.
Kortny Webb scored 20 points to lead Lakeside.

YOUNGSTOWN -- The Eagles (11-3) held a 32-25 lead at intermission, then held on to prevail.
Rachel Coristin took scoring honors for the Eagles with 26 points. Danielle Pecchia chipped in with 13.
Leslie Norwood led the Redmen with 20 points. Rhonnes Griffin finished with 14.

CAMPBELL -- Renee Black scored nine points and Allison Brys added eight as Kennedy outscored Campbell 27-0 in the first half to take control.
Maria Rohan had five points for the Red Devils (0-16), who have lost 21 straight games.
