"Days of Our Lives" rebroadcasts: Starting March 15, "Days of Our Lives" will begin rebroadcasting daily episodes. The entire week's episodes will also be repeated in a Sunday night marathon. "Days" joins "All My Children," "One Life to Live" and "General Hospital" in repeats on the cable channel. The multiyear deal also includes access to classic episodes for special programming. Speaking of classic episodes, the airdate for the trio of "Days" stars guest-starring on NBC's "American Dreams," which will also feature clips from early episodes of the soap, is Feb. 22.Short-term role: Paul Leyden's return to "As the World Turns" as Simon will be short-lived. The actor is set to reprise his character only until the middle of this month, just long enough to jeopardize Katie's relationship with Mike.Nominations: "Guiding Light" director Susan Strickler is among the nominees for a Directors Guild of America Award. Strickler was an award winner in the field of daytime serials in 1992 for her work on "Another World." The other nominees are Larry Carpenter, with his second nomination in a row for "One Life to Live," Sally McDonald, who was first nominated for "Young and Restless" in 1998, Angela Tessinari, who was nominated for "All My Children" in 2001 and the first nomination of Andrew Lee, for "Port Charles." The winner will be named Feb. 7 at the DGA Awards dinner in Los Angeles.Awards presenters: "Passions" actors like to educate as well as entertain. James Hyde (Sam) and Eva Tamargo (Pilar) will be presenters at the annual American Veterans Awards, set to air on the History Channel on Feb. 20.Debut: Marquita Terry debuts Wednesday as Carly's attorney Iris McNeill on "General Hospital."
