MONTREAL -- Niklas Sundstrom had a goal and two assists, and Montreal spoiled Chicago coach Brian Sutter's 1,000th regular season game. Patrice Brisebois, Sheldon Souray, Jan Bulis, Steve Begin and Mike Ribeiro also scored for Montreal, which won for the second time in three games following a three-game losing streak. Sutter, who also coached St. Louis, Boston, and Calgary, became the 10th coach in NHL history to reach 1,000 career games. Steve Sullivan scored twice, and Kyle Calder and Alexei Zhamnov also scored for Chicago.
Flames 6, Mighty Ducks 4
CALGARY, Alberta -- Chris Clark had his first career two-goal game to lead Calgary over Anaheim. Martin Gelinas, Craig Conroy, Shean Donovan, and Dean McAmmond also scored for the Flames, who won at home for just the third time in 10 games. Sergei Fedorov had a goal and three assists to lead Anaheim. The Ducks also got goals from Petr Sykora, Vitaly Vishnevski, and Vaclav Prospal.
