HORIZON LEAGUE Butler tops struggling CSU; Green Bay defeats Detroit

INDIANAPOLIS -- Avery Sheets scored 13 points and Duane Lightfoot added 12 as Butler beat Cleveland State 61-43 Thursday night, the 14th straight loss for the Vikings.
Cleveland State's only leads were in the game's opening minutes. A layup by Mike Monserez tied the score, then Sheets scored the next six points for Butler (8-10, 4-5 Horizon League).
The Bulldogs led 26-17 at halftime and took their biggest lead at 59-38 on a pair of free throws by Monserez with under three minutes to go.
Wis.-Green Bay 53, Detroit 52
GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Mike King made a pair of free throws with eight seconds remaining and Detroit missed two potential game-winning shots as time ran out.
Matt Rohde had 17 points -- 14 of them in the first half -- to lead Green Bay (13-6, 7-2 HL).
King made all nine of his free throw attempts and had 13 points for the Phoenix, which beat the Titans despite shooting 35 percent from the field. Javier Mendiburu added 14 points for Green Bay.
