CLEVELAND at HOUSTON
Time: 1 p.m.
TV/radio: (19) (WKBN-AM 570) (WNCD-FM 93.3)
Series history: Browns lead 1-0. Last meeting: Browns beat Texans 34-17
Key matchup: Browns' front seven vs. Texans RB Domanick Davis. Davis has run for TD in seven of his last eight games, and is tied for second in AFC with 12 TDs rushing. Last week, he reached 1,000 yards rushing for second year in row. He leads AFC RBs with 554 yards receiving. Only Saints have worse rushing defense than Browns, who allow 145.2 yards per game.
Streaks, stats and notes: Texans offensive coordinator Chris Palmer was Browns head coach from 1999-2000. ... Browns last played in Houston in 1995 against Oilers. That was season before Art Modell moved team to Baltimore. Browns were absent from NFL until 1999. ... Browns rookie QB Luke McCown grew up in Jacksonville, Texas, 194 miles north of Houston. ... Texans WR Andre Johnson was chosen to Pro Bowl for first time. He's Texans' only Pro Bowler. Browns had no Pro Bowlers. ... Texans rookie CB Dunta Robinson leads team with six INTs.
PITTSBURGH at BUFFALO
Time: 1 p.m.
TV/radio: (27) (2) (WBBG-FM 106.1)
Series history: Steelers lead 11-9. Last meeting: Steelers beat Bills 20-3 on Sept. 30, 2001, at Buffalo.
Key matchup: Steelers OLB Joey Porter and ILB James Farrior vs. Bills RB Willis McGahee. Despite concerns about knee injury, McGahee rushed for 102 yards and two TDs last week. Bills are 8-0 when McGahee gains at least 90 yards. Porter and Farrior were both chosen to Pro Bowl roster. Steelers lead league, allowing 80.2 yards rushing per game, and have allowed only one RB to gain more than 90 yards against them this season (Cincinnati's Rudi Johnson in Week 4).
Streaks, stats and notes: Steelers have home-field advantage wrapped up through AFC playoffs. Bills can make postseason with win and either Jets or Broncos loss. ... Steelers have NFL's No. 2 rushing offense, gaining 153.8 yards per game. ... Steelers' defense is No. 1 in NFL, Bills' defense is No. 2 in AFC. ... Bills coach Mike Mularkey was former Steelers TE (1989-91) and Steelers assistant from 1996-2003. ... Steelers have plus-11 turnover differential. Bills are plus-10.
SAN FRANCISCO at NEW ENGLAND
Time: 1 p.m.
Series history: 49ers lead 7-2. Last meeting: Patriots beat 49ers 24-21 on Dec. 20, 1998, at New England.
Key matchup: 49ers' front seven vs. Patriots RB Corey Dillon. Dillon ranks third in AFC with 1,519 yards rushing and tied for third with 11 TDs rushing. He has 205 more yards rushing than 49ers do as team. He also has one more rushing TD. Dillon has eight 100-yard games this season and needs one more to tie Curtis Martin's club record of nine set in 1995.
Streaks, stats and notes: Patriots have wrapped up second seed in AFC playoffs. They'll have first-round bye and will host game in second round. ... 49ers must beat defending champion New England to avoid tying worst record in franchise history. Niners went 2-14 in 1978 and 1979. ... Barring upset win, 49ers will have No. 1 pick in draft. ... Patriots likely will rest most of defenders who have been playing with injuries. ... Patriots have plus-10 turnover differential. 49ers are minus-20, second worst in league.
CINCINNATI at PHILADELPHIA
Time: 1 p.m.
Series history: Bengals lead 6-3. Last meeting: Eagles beat Bengals 16-7 on Dec. 24, 2000, at Eagles.
Key matchup: Bengals WR Chad Johnson vs. Eagles' secondary. Johnson is second in AFC with 90 receptions (two behind league-leader Derrick Mason) and first in AFC with 1,207 yards passing. With enough catches, we could become first Cincinnati WR to lead league for season. Johnson and teammateT.J. Houshmandzadeh need 61 yards receiving to post most by two WRs in team history. Johnson and WR Peter Warrick set record last year.
Streaks, stats and notes: Eagles wrapped up home-field advantage throughout NFC playoffs a couple weeks ago. Many of starters barely played in last week's loss to Rams. They already set club record for wins, went through division undefeated for first time and are undefeated at home. ... Bengals have been eliminated from playoff contention. ... A win would give Bengals 16 victories over two seasons under head coach Marvin Lewis. That would team's most in a two-year span since 1989-90 when they had 17. at 7-8, Bengals have also clinched 14th consecutive season without winning record.

Key matchup: Lions CBs Dre' Bly and Andre' Goodman vs. Titans WR Derrick Mason. Mason leads NFL with 92 receptions and has 1,120 yards receiving, with seven TDs. He's first player in franchise history to reach 1,000 yards in four straight seasons. If he holds on to his lead, he'd be first player from franchise to lead NFL in receptions since Haywood Jeffires in 1991. Bly leads Lions with four INTs, while Goodman has one.
MIAMI at BALTIMORE
Time: 1 p.m.
Series history: Dolphins lead 4-1. Last meeting: Dolphins beat Ravens 9-6 in OT on Nov. 16, 2003, at Miami.
Key matchup: Dolphins K Olindo Mare vs. Ravens K Matt Stover. These kickers were only ones to score in last year's game and needed overtime to score 15 combined points. Both teams have strong defenses and weak offenses, so Mare's and Stover's legs may provide all the points again. Mare has had injury problems this season and has made 12 of 15 FGs. Stover has made 26 of 29 and has 105 points, tied for 12th in league.
GREEN BAY at CHICAGO
Time: 1 p.m.
Series history: Bears lead 85-77-6. Last meeting: Bears beat Packers 21-10 on Sept. 19 at Green Bay.
Key matchup: Packers QB Brett Favre vs. Chicago secondary. In Week 2, Bears safety Mike Brown scooped up fumble by Packers RB Ahman Green and returned it 95 yards for TD. Later, he ruptured Achilles' tendon and was done for year. Bears have struggled with defensive injuries all season since holding Favre to 252 yards passing and two INTs in September. Still, in last meeting, Favre broke Dan Marino's NFL record of 24 career touchdown passes against single opponent and will look to pad total against Bears.
NEW YORK JETS at ST. LOUIS
Time: 1 p.m.
Series history: Rams lead 8-2. Last meeting: Rams beat Jets 34-14 on Oct. 21, 2001, at Jets.
Key matchup: Jets CBs David Barrett and Donnie Abraham vs. Rams WRs Torry Holt and Isaac Bruce. Holt and Bruce comprise one of NFL's most prolific receiving duos. Combined they have 2,462 yards receiving -- more than Bears and Ravens have in total. Holt has eight TDs and Bruce five. QB Marc Bulger is back after missing time with shoulder injury. Rams average 254.7 yards passing per game, while Jets allow only 192.0.
MINNESOTA at WASHINGTON
Time: 1 p.m.
TV: (17/62)
Series history: Redskins lead 9-7. Last meeting: Vikings beat Redskins 41-7 on Oct. 18, 1998, at Minnesota.
Key matchup: Vikings QB Daunte Culpepper vs. Redskins CB Shawn Springs. Culpepper, who was suffering from flu-like sypmtoms earlier this week, will need big game to put Vikings into playoffs. Last week he threw for 285 yards and three TDs with no INTs, but this time he'll face Redskins' strong defense, not porous one from Green Bay. He ranks second in NFL to Peyton Manning with 4,418 yards passing, 37 TDs and 112.2 passer rating. Versatile Springs leads all NFL DBs with five sacks and leads Redskins with five INTs.
NEW ORLEANS at CAROLINA

Key matchup: Falcons' front seven vs. Seahawks RB Shaun Alexander. Alexander leads NFL with 1,616 yards rushing and is second with 15 TDs rushing, but leads league with 19 TDs overall. In 2002 meeting, Alexander rushed for 137 yards and two TDs, including winner in OT. Falcons allow only 106.5 yards rushing per game, while Alexander averages 107.7 per contest. Falcons have nothing to play for, while Seahawks have postseason berth on line, so Alexander could have big day.
TAMPA BAY at ARIZONA
Time: 4:05 p.m.
Series history: Tied 7-7. Last meeting: Buccaneers beat Cardinals 19-18 on Sept. 29, 1997, at Tampa Bay.
Key matchup: Buccaneers QBs Brian Griese and Chris Simms vs. Cardinals DE Bertrand Berry. Griese sat out practice Wednesday with sprained right foot and is questionable. If he can't play, Simms will make second pro start. Berry has career-best 121/2 sacks this season, second in league. Buccaneers have allowed 40 sacks, tied for 10th in league.
KANSAS CITY at SAN DIEGO
Time: 4:15 p.m.
Series history: Chiefs lead 47-41-1. Last meeting: Chargers beat Chiefs 34-31 on Nov. 28 at Kansas City.
Key matchup: Chiefs WR-KR Dante Hall vs. Chargers' special teams. Hall has won AFC's special teams player of week award in back-to-back weeks. Last week, Hall returned six kickoffs for 175 yards and 29.2 average. His final return went for 49 yards and put Chiefs in position to hit winning field goal. He also caught two passes for 14 yards. Chargers are only team in NFL that has allowed two kickoff return TDs this season.

TV/radio: (27) (19) (WBBW-AM 1240)
Series history: Broncos lead 10-5. Last meeting: Colts beat Broncos 41-10 on Jan. 4, 2003, in AFC wild-card game at Indianapolis.
Key matchup: Colts QB Peyton Manning vs. Broncos DE Reggie Hayward. Manning has already broken Dan Marino's record of 48 TD passes in season, and needs just one to become the first player to reach 50. He leads NFL with 4,551 yards passing and 121.4 passer rating, well ahead of Steve Young's season record of 112.8 set in 1994. Denver's home stadium is one of two road venues where he has never thrown TD pass (St. Louis is other). Colts have allowed league-low 13 sacks. Hayward leads Broncos with 91/2 sacks and has had one in five of his last seven games.
JACKSONVILLE at OAKLAND
Time: 4:15 p.m.
Series history: Tied 1-1. Last meeting: Jaguars beat Raiders 20-9 on Dec. 21, 1997, at Oakland.
Key matchup: Jaguars WR Jimmy Smith vs. Raiders CBs Nnamdi Asomugha and Denard Walker. Jacksonville star RB Fred Taylor missed last week's game and is questionable for this week. QB Byron Leftwich is recovering from concussion and his worst outing as pro. Smith, third in AFC with 1,150 yards receiving, will need to have big game. Among players with at least 60 receptions, he's No. 1 in league averaging 16.2 yards per catch. Only Chiefs have more porous secondary than Raiders.

He needs 66 yards rushing to pass Rodney Hampton (6,897) for most in team history and last week set team record with ninth 100-yard game this season. Cowboys allow 111.1 yards rushing per game.
