Boardman-Poland Junior Women's League seats slate of officers for the new year

BOARDMAN -- Boardman-Poland Junior Women's League met Dec. 6 at the Boathouse Restaurant for its holiday social.
A cocktail hour preceded dinner, and officers for the 2005-2006 club year were installed. The slate consists of Linda Crish, president; Zoe Panno, president-elect; Amy Kraljevic, first vice president; Yvonne Ford, second vice president; Bethann Zoldan, recording secretary; Stacy Grischow, corresponding secretary; Paige Schantz, treasurer; and Margaret Cherol, assistant treasurer.
A raffle was also held to raise money for the league's community special-needs program.
The league is now accepting new members for the year. Membership is open to all women 18 and over who reside in Mahoning, Columbiana and Trumbull counties. Its purpose is to provide women opportunities for community service in the areas of arts, conservation, education, home life, international affairs and public affairs.
