TRUMBULL COUNTY Teen faces multiple charges linked to break-in at Family Court Center

WARREN -- Trumbull County's Family Court Center was broken into Christmas Day by a man who told officials he didn't know it was a public building, deputies say.
William P. Cole, 19, of Grant Street, is charged with breaking and entering to commit theft, and criminal damaging, the sheriff's department reports.
Warren police had been dispatched to the juvenile justice center about 9:50 p.m. regarding someone breaking a window in the administrative part of the building, then fleeing on foot.
Deputy Peter Pizzulo, en route to the sheriff's office, heard the call and saw a man who matched the description walking east on High Street near Expert Tire. Cole was identified and agreed to ride back to the scene so that a juvenile officer who saw a man running away could get a look at his clothing.
"Once inside of the patrol car, Mr. Cole made an admission that he felt stupid because he did not know that the building was the Juvenile Justice Center," the deputy's report states.
After conferring with police at the building, Cole was taken to the county jail. In his pockets were an envelope addressed to Trumbull County with $200, and a chisel, the sheriff's department reports.
Also, as his clothing was being bagged, several pieces of tinted glass were found in a leg pocket.
