TRUMBULL COUNTY ARRAIGNMENTS Warren woman to be in court over fire at storage building
WARREN -- A woman will return to Trumbull County Common Pleas Court early next month on an arson charge.
Sandra Holliday, 32, of Warren was indicted by a county grand jury last week and pleaded innocent at her arraignment Monday before Judge Peter Kontos. She remains free on $5,000 bond.
A pretrial hearing before Judge John Stuard was set for 8:30 a.m. Jan. 6.
Howland firefighters say a fire destroyed a storage building at 3616 Basswood Ave. N.E. in June. Authorities said Holliday was the owner. The blaze caused about $1,500 damage to the building, its contents and a pickup truck parked nearby.
Also before Judge Kontos on Monday was Stacey Sellers, 43, of Maple Street, under indictment on charges of kidnapping and gross sexual imposition and three counts of aggravated robbery.
Warren police say Sellers is the suspect in a Nov. 18 crime spree. He is accused of beating a female employee of Zamarelli Real Estate on East Market Street; taking an elderly woman's car on Elm Road Northeast, and kidnapping a Southington woman from the parking lot of AVI Foodsystems on Elm Road.
He appeared clad in orange county jail coveralls, cuffed at the hands and feet, and pleaded innocent. Sellers remains in Trumbull County Jail in lieu of $300,000 bond. Judge Andrew Logan will have a pretrial hearing for Sellers at 8:30 a.m. Jan. 4.
