HERMINE WOLFE SLINDBURT H. BUTCHER
XYOUNGSTOWN -- The marriage of Hermine Wolfe Slind of Aberdeen, Md., and Burt H. Butcher, 4220 Milltrace Road, was solemnized at 4 p.m. Nov. 27 at Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Nicholas Cammarata presided, and a reception followed at Das Dutch Village Inn, Columbiana.
The couple are living in Boardman. Mrs. Butcher was a bus attendant for Harford County Schools in Belair, Md. Her husband was a manager of transportation with New York Central, Pittsburgh & amp; Lake Erie and Youngstown & amp; Southern railroads. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and the Korean War.
The bride wore a two-piece, tea-length suit of ivory crepe de chine embellished with pearls and crystals. She was given in marriage by her sons-in-law, Gary Seward of Aberdeen and Carl A. Johnson of Sugar Grove, N.C.
Matron of honor was the bride's sister, Frieda M. Willig of Youngstown. Bridesmaids were her granddaughter, Tracy E. Johnson of Sugar Grove, and her great-granddaughter, Cara E. Richardson of Perryville, Md. The wore gowns in shades of blue.
Burt H. Butcher of Boardman was his father's best man. Groomsmen were Robert L. Butcher of Poland, also the groom's son, and James Derry of Streetsboro, his grandson. Casey E. Moore of Havre De Grace, Md., the bride's great-grandson, was ring bearer.
Also participating were Elizabeth Richardson of Youngstown, the bride's granddaughter, and Cindy Ladymon of Youngstown.
