XOhio Cultural Alliance will meet at 6 p.m. Jan. 10 at St. Michael Church Hall, 281 Glenview Road, Canfield. The topic will be "The Immigrant Experience: From Turkey to the Mahoning Valley." Gular Koknar, national executive director of the Turkish Cultural Foundation in Washington, D.C., will be the guest speaker. Cultural enrichment will be provided by Ali Ihsan Karamavruc, who will play and sing Turkish melodies. A piano concert at 6 will be presented by Roman Rudnytsky. The meal will be prepared by the Turkish-American Association of Northeast Ohio. The cost is $11 for members and $16 for nonmembers. Guests are welcome.
