Milwaukee falls to No. 2 Kansas

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Keith Langford scored 21 points and Aaron Miles became the Big 12 Conference's career assist leader in No. 2 Kansas' 73-62 victory over Wisconsin-Milwaukee on Wednesday night.
Miles had nine assists for the Jayhawks (8-0), giving him 800 for his career.
Oklahoma State's Doug Gottlieb held the previous record with 793 assists from 1998 to 2000.
Miles had eight rebounds for Kansas, which was playing for the first time since power forward Wayne Simien had surgery on his left thumb.
Wisconsin-Milwaukee (6-3), the preseason pick to win the Horizon League, lost its third straight despite six 3-pointers and a career-high 26 points from Ed McCants.
Alex Galindo scored 10 of his 14 points in the second half for Kansas, and Russell Robinson added 12 points.
Tigert had 13 points for Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and Joah Tucker had 10 rebounds.

EDINBURG, Texas -- Ray Castillo scored a career-high 30 points and had eight rebounds to lead Texas-Pan American.
Alvaidas Gedminas added 14 points and Chris Fagan had 11.
DaShaun Wood scored 16 points and Zakee Boyd added 14 for Wright State (5-6).
Drew Burleson added 12 points.
