MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- Ivory Latta had 17 points and a career-high 13 assists to lead North Carolina. Tangela Atkinson had 15 points and 11 rebounds for her second straight double-double for the Tar Heels (9-1). April Clyburn scored 13 points for Georgia State (3-3), which was slowed by 25 turnovers. The Panthers shot just 3-for-21 from 3-point range. With the score tied at 12-all, Atkinson and Latta led a 24-10 run over the next 10 minutes that put North Carolina in control. Atkinson took a pass from Latta for an inside basket that initiated the run, and Latta closed the outburst with her first 3-pointer, making it 36-22.

WACO, Texas -- Sophia Young scored 15 points and Steffanie Blackmon added 14 for Baylor. Baylor (9-1) opened the second half with nine straight points to take a 54-33 lead over the Gators (6-3) with just under 16 minutes left. Florida never got closer than 16 points thereafter. Brittany Davis led Florida with 16 points.

MILWAUKEE -- Jacqueline Batteast scored 27 points and made Notre Dame's only 3-pointer at the buzzer. Muffet McGraw notched her 394th win, passing Digger Phelps for the most wins by a Notre Dame coach. McGraw is 394-150 in her 18th season with the Fighting Irish. Batteast added 10 rebounds for Notre Dame (10-1). Christina Quaye led Marquette (6-3) with 20 points and eight rebounds. The Golden Eagles shot just 29 percent but outrebounded Notre Dame 47-31.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Shyra Ely scored 23 points and freshman point guard Sa'de Wiley-Gatewood hit three 3-pointers in her collegiate debut to lead Tennessee. Alexis Hornbuckle added 15 points, while Shanna Zolman had 11 and Brittany Jackson 10 for the Lady Vols (7-2). Sandora Irvin, who became the all-time leading scorer for the Frogs (7-4) last week, had 21 points and 16 rebounds.

EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Liz Shimek had a career-high 25 points and 15 rebounds to rally Michigan State. Kristin Haynie had 14 points, seven rebounds, six assists and five steals, including a steal and basket that put the Spartans ahead in a closing 12-2 run. Kelli Roehrig added 13 points for Michigan State (9-1), which needed four free throws by Lindsay Bowen and two from Haynie to seal the win. Lindsey Van Dorn had 16 points and Kirbria Lewis added 15 for the Islanders (8-2).
Virginia Tech 71,No. 12 Texas Tech 70 (OT)
LAS VEGAS -- Carrie Mason scored Virginia Tech's final four points in overtime to lead the Hokies to the upset. Mason led the Hokies with 12 points, four assists and three blocked shots. Her basket and two free throws gave the Hokies a 71-68 lead with 29 seconds left. Cisti Greenwalt's basket pulled the Raiders within a point, and Mason missed two free throws with eight seconds remaining. That gave Texas Tech a final possession, but Chesley Dabbs' shot from the top of the key fell short. Nare Diawara and Erin Gibson each scored 11 points for Virginia Tech. Dawn Chriss added eight points and eight rebounds. LaToya Davis led the Raiders with 23 points on 9-of-13 shooting. Greenwalt had 14 points, 12 rebounds and seven blocked shots.

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- Freshman Tasha Humphrey had 22 points and nine rebounds in just 14 minutes in coach Andy Landers' 700th victory. Janese Hardrick added 18 points and Cori Chambers had 14 for the Bulldogs (8-3), who won their third in a row. Meg Abele scored 16 points and Tiara Headen added 11 for the Gaels (2-7). Landers, in his 30th season, became the fifth women's coach to reach 700 victories. Tennessee's Pat Summitt is the all-time leader at 858, followed by Texas' Jody Conradt ( 852), LSU's Sue Gunter (708) and Rutgers' Vivian Stringer (700).

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- Angelina Williams had 30 points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals to help upset UCLA. Williams' 3-pointer sparked a 12-2 second-half run for Illinois, which shot a season-high 60 percent. Nikki Blue paced UCLA (6-2) with 17 points and Lisa Willis added 15.
