Santa to visit Poland Library

POLAND -- The Friends of the Poland Library will welcome Santa on Saturday in the library's meeting room from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The theme is "All Aboard the Poland Express. Believe in Books!"
The family event is free and open to the public. Children can participate in a coloring contest, which will be judged by Santa at noon. The contest will feature two categories: preschool to age 6, and ages 7-10. Entries for the coloring contest can be picked up during regular hours at the bookstore, located in Poland Library. Entrants can also view the prizes, which are on display in the bookstore. The bookstore is operated by the Friends of the Public Library of Youngstown & amp; Mahoning County.
An area with a large cutout train will provide a photo opportunity for children and adults.
The Poland Friends will also be selling Wendell-August Forge Christmas ornaments and candles made with a casting of the Poland Library as a fund-raiser.
The Friends will also hold a raffle.
