CANFIELD
Dec. 6
Theft of checks: A 75-year-old Newton Square woman reported to the Canfield Post Office, 44 N. Broad St. that she had put her mail on hold while she was in Florida, and on her return, found out that two retirement checks were missing. One of them had been cashed.
Dec. 8
Theft: A resident of the 500 block of Greenmont Drive reported that cash had been stolen from her car, which was parked in the driveway. She said more than $1,000 was taken.

Dec. 5
Theft: Three wire reindeer were stolen from a residence in the 400 block of Plumbrook Drive.
Dec. 6
Theft: A 6-foot inflatable Christmas decoration was stolen in the 4000 block of Woodridge Drive.
Theft: Christmas yard decorations were stolen in the 5000 block of Madrid Drive.
Theft: Cash and equipment were stolen from Mr. Rooter, 5400 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Items were stolen from a storage area in the 600 block of Silica Road.
Theft: Outside decorations were stolen from the 3000 block of Whitebeech Lane.
Criminal Mischief: Eggs and oranges were thrown at a residence in the 1000 block of Cedarwood Drive.
Theft: Yard ornaments were stolen in the 1000 block of Lancaster Drive.
Stolen: Yard ornaments were stolen in the 5000 block of London Drive.
Theft: Lawn ornaments were stolen in the 200 block of Birchtrace Drive.
Theft from auto: Cash was taken from an unlocked automobile in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.
Theft: $442.26 worth of diesel fuel was stolen from the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.
Dec. 7
Burglary: An ex-husband is a suspect in a burglary of an apartment in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Court.
Attempted breaking and entering: Would-be thieves attempted to pry open the door at Gavo's Sport Bar, 3661 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: An eight-foot inflatable Christmas "Tigger" was stolen from a residence in the 2000 block of Amberly Avenue.
Theft: A cat was reportedly stolen by a neighbor in the 4000 block of Warwick South.
Theft: Cigarettes were taken from McQuaid's, 5160 Mahoning Ave.
Receiving stolen property: Two people were charged with receiving stolen property in the 4000 block of Mahoning Avenue.
Criminal damaging: A window was broken at Bill's Place, 4771 Mahoning Ave.
Dec. 8
Theft: A woman was charged with theft at Meridian Arms, 650 S. Meridian Road.
Criminal damaging: Three hundred feet of lawn was damaged at Lynn Kirk Elementary School, Evelyn Road.
Theft: Metal was taken from an apartment in the 3000 block of Hendricks Road.
Theft: An LCD-TV was taken from Sears, 760 Interstate Blvd.
Theft: Christmas lawn ornaments were stolen in the 1000 block of Signature Drive.
Theft: Christmas decorations were stolen from a residence in the 4000 block of Barrington Drive.
Dec. 9
Theft from auto: A vent window was broken in an automobile at Quaker Manufacturing, 207 N. Four Mile Run Road.
Theft: $450 was taken from a resident at Austinwoods Nursing Home, 4780 Kirk Road.
Theft: A flagpole was taken from a residence in the 800 block of North Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft: A summons was issued for the arrest of two suspects for theft at Wal-Mart.
Drug offense: A summons was issued for the arrest of a man for drug abuse of marijuana at County Line Road and Mulberrry Run.

Criminal mischief: Eggs and cat litter were thrown on a vehicle in the 5000 block of Callaway Circle.
Aggravated burglary: A burglary was reported in the 50 block of Parkgate Avenue.
Burglary: A Toro snow blower was stolen from a garage in the 2000 block of Vollmer Drive.
Drug offense: A man was charged with a drug offense and driving under the influence of alcohol at Wal-Mart.
Theft: A PlayStation was taken from a residence in the 3000 block of Burkey Road.
Theft: A U-Haul trailer was taken from the Fairfield Inn, 801 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Dec. 11
Theft from auto: Items were stolen out of an International truck at Cerni Trucking, 1050 Cerni Place.
Theft: A giant airborne inflatable snowman was stolen from a residence in the 100 block of Yolanda Drive.
Criminal damaging: A rear window of a vehicle was damaged in the 3000 block of Meanderwood Drive.
Criminal trespass: A woman was charged with criminal trespass and drug abuse of marijuana and a second woman was arrested on trespassing charges and possession of drug paraphernalia at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.
