XFraternal Order of Eagles 3298, 1655 Raccoon Road, Austintown, will serve dinners from 4 to 8 p.m. All-you-can-eat fish dinners are $6.95; four-piece honey-dipped chicken dinners, $8; all-you-can-eat spaghetti meals with two meatballs or rigatoni, $5; homemade stuffed cabbage, $5.95; and pork chop dinners, $7.95. XCol. Louis J. Campbell VFW Post 3538, 157 Lowellville Road, Struthers, will hold a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Meals will be served with meatballs, salad, bread and butter, and coffee. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children under 8. Carryout orders are $5.50 and will be available only until 6 p.m. Containers will be provided.
XCroatian Home of St. George Lodge 66 will hold a pasta dinner from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at the clubrooms at 3200 Vestal Road, Youngstown. Dinners feature your choice of red or white spaghetti, ravioli or cavatelli, salad and bread and butter and coffee. Proceeds benefit the club's building fund.
FRIDAY

XHoly Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will be selling potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. Orders will be taken from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday and from 8 to 11 a.m. Friday at (330) 755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Orders may be picked up from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday. Patrons are asked to provide containers.
XHoly Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church will serve fish dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. at the church hall, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod, Spanish rice or haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries, coleslaw, string beans, applesauce, bread, and coffee or tea. The cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at (330) 792-1005.
XHoly Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown, will be selling pirogi, hot pirogi lunches and plain, cinnamon and powdered sugar doughnuts for takeout only. Orders will be taken from 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday at (330) 746-9528. Orders should be placed early and are to be picked up by 2 p.m. Friday. Takeouts are by advance order only. Cost is $4 for a dozen pirogi.
XHubbard VFW 3767 Auxiliary, 710 W. Liberty St., will hold a fish fry from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Cost is $6.75 for large dinners, baked or fried, and $5 for small dinners. The menu also will feature a choice of french fries, haluski or macaroni and cheese. Carryouts will be available. For information call (330) 534-9775. This is the last dinner of the year; they will resume Jan. 7.
XNational Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon, 2759 Lipkey Road, North Jackson, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Cost is $9 for adults and $6 for children 12 and under. The menu will feature baked or fried fish, a cook's choice fish or 21-piece shrimp, and a choice of hot foods and salad. Dessert also is included along with coffee, tea or punch. XPotato pirogi will be sold at St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 4310 Kirk Road, Austintown. To order call (330) 799-0084 from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday and from 8 to 11 a.m. Friday. Cost is $3.75 per dozen. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday; patrons may provide their own containers and are asked to use the side entrance. Lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. This will be the last sale of the year. Sales will resume Jan. 21.
XSt. Anthony Church, 1125 Turin Ave., Youngstown, will be selling pizza and other Italian treats. Orders may be placed by calling (330) 746-9577 from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. and must be picked up by 1 p.m.
XSt. Luke Church, 5235 South Ave., Boardman, will be baking Italian-style red and white pizza. Phone orders will be accepted at (330) 788-0025 between 8:30 a.m. and noon only. Pickup will be until 1 p.m.
XSt. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Youngstown, will sell sweet cabbage or potato pirogi for walk-in sales from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Byzantine Center at the Grove, 3801 Shady Run Road, Youngstown.
XSt. Paul the Apostle Church, Main Street, New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi. Orders can be called to (330) 542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday. This will be the last week to order and pick up pirogi for Christmas. Sales will resume Jan. 7.
XSts. Cyril and Methodius Church, 185 Laird Ave., Warren, will sponsor the sale of potato, sweet cabbage, sauerkraut and lekvar-prune pirogi and haluski. Orders may be placed by calling (330) 393-0781 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. Pickup will be from noon to 5 p.m. Friday.
SUNDAY
XCapt. Charles M. Marino Post 3, Italian-American War Veterans, 113 S. Meridian Road, Youngstown, will serve spaghetti dinners from noon to 5 p.m. The cost is $5.50 for adults and $3 for children 6 to 10. Those under 6 may eat for free. Carryouts also will be available to patrons providing their own containers. There will also be a bake sale.
XFowler Volunteer Fire Department will hold its monthly pancake, sausage and egg breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the fire station, state Route 193. Prices are $5 for adults, $3.50 for senior citizens and children 6 to 12 and free for preschoolers.
XA roast beef dinner will be held from noon to 2 p.m. at Kinsman Presbyterian Church, 6383 Church St., sponsored by the Men's Organization to benefit NESFACE food bank. Tickets will be sold at the door for $6.50 for adults and $3.50 for children under 12. For information call (330) 876-4485.

Santa will arrive around 9 a.m. and will have a gift for all children who visit him.
