Key matchup: Chiefs defensive coordinator Gunther Cunningham vs. Titans coach Jeff Fisher. Cunningham credits Fisher with resurrecting his career after he was fired as head coach of the Chiefs following the 2000 season. Fisher made Cunningham Titans LB coach in 2001 and he stayed through 2003. Cunningham returned to the Chiefs for 2004, but has been unable to improve one of the NFL's worst defenses. Chiefs were 29th overall last season and 30th now. They allow 261.4 yards passing per game, and have given up 37 TDs, tied for most in league. Fisher's offense has been hampered by injuries, but should have easier time against Chiefs.
