LESLIE KNUEPPELJOSHUA MCCALLISTER
XBOARDMAN -- The marriage of Leslie Jeanne Knueppel of Novi, Mich., and Joshua Wade McCallister, also of Novi, took place at 2 p.m. Nov. 13 at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park.
The Rev. Dr. William Hess officiated for the daughter of Carol and Dr. Daniel Knueppel of Granite Falls, N.C., and the son of Debbie and Dennis McCallister of Boardman.
After a reception at Das Dutch Village Inn in Columbiana, the couple left on a wedding trip to Disney World.
They live in Novi, where Mrs. McCallister is a circulation clerk and library assistant at the Novi Public Library. Her husband is with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Detroit. Both graduated from Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Ind., she with a bachelor's degree in public relations and he with honors with his bachelor's in political science.
The bride's strapless A-line gown of satin was designed with an asymmetrical back with an organza inset and was trimmed with metallic beaded embroidery and rosettes.
Jessica Miedema was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Erin Wolosin; Lara Roccatani, the bride's cousin; Kristine Reiser; and Jill and Claire McElheny, the groom's cousins. They wore apple-red gowns.
Tyler Parkison performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Bradley and Jeffrey Knueppel, the bride's brothers, and Aaron and Kynan Glover and Ross McElheny, the groom's cousins. Paul Knueppel, the bride's nephew, was ring bearer.
