Harrells celebrate 50th jubilee on Caribbean cruise

XYOUNGSTOWN -- Celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary Dec. 4 on a cruise to the western Caribbean were Mr. and Mrs. Warren Harrell, 2154 Bott Ave.
Arrangements were made by the couple's children, Jerome and Jeani Harrell of Hubbard, Karen H. and William O'Neal of Mansfield and Trisha Harrell of Youngstown. The couple also have two grandchildren.
The former Iva Morgan and Mr. Harrell were married Dec. 4, 1954, at the bride's home in Youngstown.
She worked for Youngstown Lamp Plant of General Electric Co. and as a clerk with the Youngstown Clerk of Courts Office. She belongs to Phillips Chapel CME Church and is a member of Northeast Ohio Homeowners Association and Creme De'La Cremes Couples Club.
Her husband retired in 1989 from the U.S. Postal Service as postmaster at the Campbell post office. He served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954 as a staff sergeant with the 101st Airborne Division and is a veteran of the Korean War. He is a member of New Bethel Baptist Church and the American Association of Retired Persons.
He and his wife are also members of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees and the Ohio Cultural Alliance.
