YOUNGSTOWN -- The Mahoning County District Board of Health still has flu vaccine available.
Board personnel will be administering vaccine by appointment to the following:
* Children 6 to 23 months old.
* Individuals 2 to 64 years old with chronic illnesses such as lung or heart disease, diabetes and other metabolic diseases and cancer and other diseases of the immune system.
* Children 2 to 18 years old on aspirin therapy.
* Children needing their second flu shot.

Woman dies in crash
DARLINGTON, Pa. -- An Enon Valley, Pa., woman was killed in a one-car accident Friday morning on Taggart Road.
Samantha L. Holman, 22, was driving her car east on Taggart at about 2:45 a.m. Friday when she lost control of the car as it rounded a curve. The vehicle went off the road, over a small embankment and rolled over several times before coming to rest in a field, according to the Pennsylvania State Police in Beaver.
Holman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Woman reports rape
WARREN -- A 40-year-old Tod Avenue Northwest woman told city police she was raped. She said someone she knew was at her apartment at about 10 p.m. Thursday and forced her to perform sex acts.
District to host forum
GIRARD -- The school district will have a public forum at 7:15 p.m. Dec. 20 in the high school library.
The new junior/senior high project funded by the Ohio Schools Facilities Commission will be discussed.
Scam artist warnings
BOARDMAN -- Township police are warning residents about a potential scam artist.
Police say they have received several reports of a white male in his 30s with dark hair who approaches residents in his older white car with a story that says he is moving into a house for rent in the neighborhood and got separated from the moving truck and needs money or says his car broke down and he needs money.
Police ask that anyone encountering such a person should try to get a license plate number and contact police.
Havey enters guilty plea
NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- Roger J. Havey, former business administrator for the New Castle Area School District, pleaded guilty to tampering with official records, a misdemeanor of the first degree, and was sentenced to 12 months' probation and a $500 fine.
Matthew T. Mangino, Lawrence County district attorney, said Friday that Havey pleaded guilty and was sentenced Thursday by Judge J. Craig Cox.
Havey, 50, of Aliquippa, Pa., had originally been charged with forgery and tampering with official records after an investigation by Pennsylvania State Police.
According to Mangino, Havey altered a criminal record check he submitted to the school district while seeking a job. He changed the document to eliminate his 1990 theft conviction in Elks County.
Arrest in drug scheme
NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- Ralph R. Odem, 24, of Cedar Street, Sharon, has been arrested in a marijuana smuggling scheme, said Matthew T. Mangino, Lawrence County district attorney.
Odem, is free on bond after having been arraigned before District Justice James Reed on charges of criminal use of a communication facility, possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver and criminal conspiracy.
Mangino said Friday that Odem is alleged to have conspired to receive 4.9 pounds of marijuana from Arizona by means of a commercial delivery service. The package was intercepted in Lawrence County by state agents.
Mangino did not say when Odem was arrested or arraigned.
