Fithian installed by Western Star Lodge 21



BOARDMAN -- Tad C. Fithian of Boardman was installed as worshipful master of Western Star Lodge 21, Free and Accepted Masons, during an open ceremony Dec. 3 at the Western Star Masonic Temple, 8387 Tod Ave.
The ceremony marked the 192nd annual installation of the lodge, but only the fourth in its new temple.
Installing officers were Martin R. Schuller and Jack A. Morgan, who were assisted by other past masters of the lodge.
Also installed were Thomas A. Kidd, senior warden; Robert K. Ellway, junior warden; Earl H. Stahl, treasurer; Howard C. Bodine Jr., secretary; J. Joseph Yaksich, chaplain; Dale A. Hartson Jr., senior deacon; Edward C. Wick Jr., junior deacon; Thomas G. Jacobs, senior steward; Michael J. Hughes, junior steward; Eugene W. Woodworth, tyler; and R. Bruce Zimmer, lodge education officer and trustee.
The installation was open with a flag presentation by the Youngstown Chapter, Order of DeMolay, and was followed by a reception in the fellowship hall.
