Ammunition specialist
Marine Corps Pvt. Bradley A. Cameron, son of Mary E. Cameron and William Cameron, both of Mercer, Pa., recently graduated from the Ammunition Technician Specialist Course while assigned to Marine Corps Detachment Redstone Arsenal, Ala. During the course, Cameron was instructed on the basics of automated accountability, receipt, storage, issue, handling and inventory of ammunition. Cameron is a 2003 graduate of Mercer High School.

Second lieutenant
Andrew D. McLaughlin has been commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force and entered the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences at Bethesda, Md., as a medical student.
The tuition-free university was established by Congress under the Defense Department in 1972. The university prepares men and women for careers as physicians in the Army, Navy and Air Force, and U.S. Public Health Service.
McLaughlin is the son of Dale R. and Janine A. McLaughlin of Beaver Creek Road, Salem. He is a 2000 graduate of South Range High School, and a 2004 graduate of Grove City College, Grove City, Pa.
