NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- Westminster school records were set for points scored in a game by one and two teams, in the Titans' fifth straight victory. Dom Joseph had 24 points for Westminster (6-1), which broke the old school record of 131 points, set against Hiram on Nov. 19. The combined 263 points broke the old Westminster record of 232 set in the same game. Mark DeMonaco had 23 points for the Titans, while Chris Hatch scored 18, Ed Pagley 17, and Craig Hannon and Brian Fadden 10 apiece. Allegheny (2-5) shot 63.2 percent from the field (55-of-87) and outrebounded the Titans, 55-34. But 34 turnovers did in the Gators. Casey McCloskey paced Allegheny with 31 points, while Ben Torsney had 27, Matt Maizlik had 24, Pat Branningan 14 and Brian Schulz 11.
Mount Union 73, Muskingum 68, OT
ALLIANCE -- Mount Union's Brad Gerard scored 20 points and set a school record by making his 218th career 3-pointer. The old mark of 217 was held by Ron Powers (1998-2002). Brett Hershberger added 18 points and eight rebounds for Mount Union (3-3, 1-1 Ohio Athletic Conference), while Chris Blakely had 10 rebounds and five assists. Muskingum's (4-3, 0-2) Cole Pittis had 17 points and seven rebounds, while Zach Ross and Roy Skidmore each scored 12.
York 99, Thiel 58
YORK, Pa. -- Brandon Bushey scored a game-high 30 points for York (7-1), while Kenny Fass and Brian Singer added 12 and 10, respectively. York shot 54.2 percent (39-72) from the field, including 52.4 percent (11-21) from 3-point range. Joe Herrmann paced the Tomcats (3-4) with 15 points and five rebounds. Daryl Moore added 14 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals. York led 12-0 and 37-10 in the first half.
Kenyon 69, Grove City 65
GROVE CITY, Pa. -- Matt Formato led Kenyon (1-7) with 27 points, including five 3-point goals. The Lords made 6-of-9 3-point attempts in the second half and finished 23-of-45 (51 percent) from the floor. Mike Lukcic led Grove City (4-2) with 15 points, while Matt Phillips, Ryan Eller and Phil Bushre all scored 13. Eller and Phillips each had five assists. Grove City trailed 65-55 with 4:28 remaining but eventually trimmed the lead to 66-65 on a 3-pointer from Lukcic. Formato made two free throws and Andrew Good sealed the win by splitting two free throws.
WOMEN
Grove City 71, Wooster 69
GROVE CITY, Pa. -- Abby Moose scored 20 points and added a career-high 10 assists for Grove City (4-2). Moose moved into eighth place on Grove City's career scoring list with 972 points. Grove City led by as many as 16, 58-42, in the second half before Wooster (2-4) rallied to 71-69 with 34 seconds remaining. The Scots missed a couple of shots and Rachel McCoy of Grove City rebounded as time expired. McCoy finished with 10 points and five rebounds. Tammy Hess scored 10 of her season-high 13 points in the first half, and Rachel Romance had six assists and four steals. Carly Loehrke led Wooster with 14 points and 10 rebounds while Beth Besancon and Michelle Hall each had 10.
Hiram 64, Chatham 45
HIRAM -- Cassie Bedard led Hiram (3-3) with 19 points and 11 rebounds, while Abbey Gorby added nine points and four rebounds. Tania Carman pulled down eight rebounds and added six points, while Valerie Goudy has six assists. The Terriers led 5-0 in the first minute of the game and by as many as 16 points during the first half. Chatham is 0-5.
Malone 75, Geneva 70, OT
BEAVER FALLS, Pa. -- Geneva fought back from a 10-point deficit with 2:56 remaining in regulation, but fell short in overtime. Malone's (6-4) Michelle Ling scored 38 points on 12-of-20 shooting. Jen Rawding led Geneva (5-3) with 18 points, while Allyson Clark added 12 and Stevie Goist scored 11. Clark also pulled down a career high 14 rebounds. Geneva's Ali Cananzi, who led the country in three-point field goals last year, was held scoreless for just the second time in her career.
Medaille 75, Thiel 47
BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Medaille had five players score in double figures, led by Marisa Clark, who finished with 17 points on 7-of-14 shooting. She also had five rebounds. Amanda Walling added 15 points, six assists, six steals and three rebounds. Medaille shot 52.7 percent (29-of-55) from the floor. Kristen Benjamin finished with 15 points and six rebounds to lead the Tomcats (2-7). Kenecia Streeter added eight points and six rebounds.
Muskingum 77, Mount Union 69
NEW CONCORD -- Mount Union (2-4, 0-2 OAC) was led by Lauren Friedrich with 17 points, while Ashley Bourdeau had 14 points and eight rebounds, and Kyla Hogan scored 13. Muskingum (1-4, 1-2) was paced by Jennifer Huffman's 18 points.
