DANCES
XSalem Memorial Building Association will host its annual Holiday Hop for adults and senior citizens from 7 to 10 p.m. Dec. 15 in the gymnasium, 785 E. State St., Salem. Music will be played for round and square dancing, and refreshments will be served. Admission is free. The event is also sponsored by Essex of Salem and Salem Senior Citizens.

RAFFLES
XAnimal Welfare League of Trumbull County is holding a raffle at 3 p.m. Dec. 15 for a hand-crafted hardwood rocking horse, which is on display at the Menagerie Thrift & amp; Gift Shoppe, 1010 N. Park Ave., Warren. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5. The winner need not be present. Tickets may be purchased at the Menagerie or at the shelter.
XDonald Lockett VFW Post 6488 Auxiliary will have a balloon raffle Dec. 11 and 18 at 2 p.m. at the post home, 2065 Hubbard-Coitsville Road. Proceeds will benefit the youth fund.
SPECIAL EVENTS
XThe Relay for Life team of St. Vincent de Paul Church, 4453 Warren-Sharon Road, Vienna, will sponsor an Italian charm party from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at the parish center. A variety of charms, bracelets and other items will be offered, and refreshments will be provided. All proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society.
