Reimold leads Bowling Green's attack
The Falcons beat Detroit Mercy for their first road victory of the season.

DETROIT -- John Reimold scored 28 points, including six 3-pointers, to lead Bowling Green past Detroit Mercy 59-53 Saturday.
Josh Almanson added 10 points for the Falcons (3-1), who won their first road game of the season.
James Thues scored 14 points, and Ryvon Coville added 13 and nine rebounds for the Titans. Their 1-4 record puts them off to the worst start since the 1994-95 season, which began with the same record.
Reimold opened the second half with a triple from the top of the circle to give the Falcons some breathing room, then hit another pair of 3-pointers three minutes later to push Bowling Green's lead into double digits. He also hit five of his six field goals in the opening half, including a pair of 3-pointers.
Northern Iowa 80,Loyola of Chicago 73
CHICAGO -- Erik Crawford and Ben Jacobson had 19 points apiece to pace five Northern Iowa players in double-digits as the Panthers rallied late for a victory over Loyola of Chicago.
The Panthers (3-1) finished 56 percent from the floor and had a 43-24 rebounding edge.
Northern Iowa outscored Loyola (2-4) 24-5 over the last four minutes of the first half and the first three minutes of the second half to move to a lead that reached 58-42.
DaJuan Gouard then led a Loyola streak of 16 unanswered points to tie the game with 7:52 left. He hit three straight 3-pointers and Dave Telander added another to complete the run.
The teams then exchanged leads five times before Jacobson hit a short jumper with 2:02 left that put Northern Iowa ahead 71-70. The Panthers made 7-of-8 free throws in the final 32 seconds.
Gouard tied a career-high with 27 points to lead the Ramblers. Majak Kou had 13 points and Tom Levin had 10. Eric Coleman had 16 for Northern Iowa.
