XBOARDMAN -- Married Nov. 6 at St. John Greek Orthodox Church were Dawn Christine Hull and Nicholas Anthony Tefakis Jr. The Rev. Thomas Constantine officiated for the daughter of Eric and Hedy Hull, Herbert Road, Canfield, and the son of Nicholas Tefakis Sr. of North Carolina, formerly of Boardman, and the late L. Besse Tefakis.
After a reception at The Georgetown they left on a wedding trip to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. They are living in Broadview Heights.
Intricate beading adorned the bodice and hemline of the bride's ivory satin and lace gown.
The bride's sisters, Teri Wilson and Michele Nelson, were honor attendants,and bridesmaids were Melissa Fossessca, Sheila Magura, Mandy Kirk, Kristy Boyles and Misty Koletich.
Mark Tefakis, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Eric Jr. and Jeri Hull, brothers of the bride; Theo Karavokiros, his brother-in-law; and George Stavrenos, Colin Brown and Matt Ivory.
Anna Tefakis and George Karavokiros, niece and nephew of the groom, were flower girl and ring bearer, respectively, and Jimmy Kouvaras participated in the Greek ceremony.
Mrs. Tefakis, a graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in hospitality, is banquet manager at the Waters Restaurant and Banquet Center in Hudson. Her husband earned a bachelor's in history at Ohio University in Athens and is employed by Sun magazine in Cleveland in the sales department.
