NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- Recent WQED and PUMP "40 Under 40" honoree Therese McShea has joined sister companies RAR Engineering Group Inc. and Environmental Laboratory Services Inc. and will lead business development for both businesses. McShea completed Youngstown State University's Executive MBA program in 2003 and was formerly employed by Meritex Gateway Commerce Center in Lawrence County.

POLAND -- The Prodigal Media Co. has hired Janet Zambelli as a senior account executive/strategist and B2B specialist. Zambelli brings more than 20 years of marketing communications experience to her role, and will specialize in industrial B2B marketing communications. Zambelli previously held the position of vice president of account services for Advanced Marketing Communications in Hudson, Ohio.Founded in 1994, The Prodigal Media Co. is located in Poland and serves as the advertising agency for many of the region's leading businesses.
HOSPITALITY
BOARDMAN -- Don Jozwiak has been appointed general manager of Holiday Inn-Boardman. With more than 36 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Jozwiak has served as assistant general manager and food and beverage director of the Boardman hotel since 1992. He will serve as only the third manager in the facility's 18- year history. Jozwiak succeeds Brent Reynolds, who has accepted a corporate level position with InterContinental Hotels, the parent firm of Holiday Inns Worldwide. He served in that post for 31/2 years.
MEDICAL
YOUNGSTOWN -- Ohio North East Health Systems has announced Elizabeth Haddle, LPN, has been promoted to site administrative director of the Youngstown Community Health Center on Wick Avenue. Haddle has been with the organization for seven years and is completing her bachelor's degree in Community Health at Youngstown State University.

WARREN -- Kathleen Killin, home health aide with the Warren branch of Cambridge Home Health Care, was honored as its Home Health Aide of the Year. November was National Home Care Month. Aides help home care patients with personal care such as bathing and dressing, and household assistance such as meal preparation, grocery shopping, laundry and light housekeeping. The award was presented Nov. 17, 2004, at a luncheon held at the Crystal Cafe in Akron by Cambridge Home Health Care president and owner Nancy Diller-Shively; Peg Bertin-Resch, district manager; and Melanie White, scheduling coordinator. Killin, a Girard resident, has been with Cambridge Home Health Care for two years and has been an aide for four years. Cambridge Home Health Care weekly serves more than 2,000 Medicare, Medicaid, Waiver, PASSPORT and private pay patients in their own homes, with offices in Akron, Alliance, Ashland, Beachwood, Cambridge, Canton, Columbus, Dayton, Dover, Elyria, Kent, Mansfield, Medina, Middleburg Heights, Sandusky, Toledo, Twinsburg, Warren, Wooster, Youngstown, and Zanesville.

Kubik, an Austintown resident, has been with Cambridge Home Health Care for a year and a half and has been an aide for 61/2 years.

POLAND -- Cindy Best joined Real Living Volpini Realty Group in November, announced Rick Volpini, owner and broker of Real Living Volpini Realty Group in Poland. Best received her real estate training at Youngstown State University. She works at Humility of Mary Health Partners. She decided to become a Realtor because she feels ready to serve the community in a new way. With 17 years of experience working with the public, Best feels confident she can help her customers buy and sell their homes. "I have an excellent reputation for work ethics and the ability and drive to reach goals, not only for myself but for others as well," she said. Best first joined Coldwell Banker but recently choose to join Rick and Marisa Volpini at their Real Living brokerage in Poland. She and her husband, David, live in Poland. They have two children, Matthew and Brittany. She enjoys spending time with her family and is active with the Poland PTA.
INSTITUTIONAL
WARREN -- Bamby Tomassi of Warren has been named assistant treasurer for the Warren-Trumbull County Library. Tomassi holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Kent State University. She previously worked part time in the main library's circulation department and later was a full-time reference/interlibrary loan associate. In her new position, she is responsible for payroll production and other fiscal duties. She replaced Sandra Woods, who retired after eight years with the library.
