XAlliance Area Retired Teachers Association will have a luncheon and meeting at noon Dec. 17 at the Alliance Senior Citizens Center, 602 W. XTrumbull County Retired Teachers Association will hold a meeting Dec. 14 at G's Golden Gate Restaurant, 2186 Parkman Road, Warren. There will a buffet lunch at noon, students from Girard High School will perform holiday skits and students from the Dana School of Music will sing. The cost is $7.50 per person. Mary Fuller, hospitality chairman, will be in charge of the holiday decorations; afterward, the arrangements will be sold with proceeds benefiting a charity. Judy Zimmer, community relations chairman, is in charge of the community service survey. Members who return the survey will be eligible for a drawing for a homemade candle made by Lydia Caskey, president. Nonperishable foods will be collected for SCOPE. Dues are $25 per year for dual membership in the county and state associations; membership chairman is Grayce Bequeath.
