Turnpike workerssettle their contract,return to their jobs
k THE PENNSYLVANIA Turnpike Commission said Tuesday night that it has reached a contract agreement with striking toll collectors, ending a walkout that began a day before Thanksgiving. The toll collectors were scheduled to return to work their next scheduled shifts at 11 p.m. Tuesday, turnpike spokesman Bill Capone said. Terms of the contract were being released this morning, he said.
