XMYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- The wedding of Melissa S. Ritchie of Austintown and Michael J. Maiorana, also of Austintown, took place July 28 on the beach.
The couple exchanged nuptial vows during a noon ceremony. They spent their honeymoon in Myrtle Beach and live in Austintown.
The bride wore a strapless, ankle-length gown of white crepe satin.
She is a daughter of Lynn and Marilyn Ritchie of North Jackson, and the groom's parents are Sam Maiorana of Austintown and Nancy LaCivita of Boardman.
The bride is an advertising consultant with Trader Publishing Co., Boardman.
The groom, an electrician with Santon Electric Co., Boardman, is also a firefighter in Austintown.
A postnuptial reception was held in honor of the newlyweds on Aug. 7 at the Saxon Club in Austintown.
