Local writer releases book
YOUNGSTOWN -- At age 80, Michael Lacivita of Youngstown has had his first book published.
"Rag Man, Rag Man" (Pig Iron Press, $26.95 hardcover, $15.95 paperback) is a living history narrative culled from more than 100 essays Lacivita has written about what it was like growing up on Youngstown's East Side during the Great Depression, serving in the Navy during World War II and working for many years as a quality control management specialist and safety manager for several local manufacturing plants. Lacivita is an occasional columnist in The Vindicator.
