JENNI-ANN KIMMELJUSTIN MARKEY
XBOARDMAN -- Jenni-Ann Kimmel and Justin P. Markey were married at 2 p.m. July 31 at Boardman Christian Church.
The Rev. James Schimmel officiated for the daughter of Robert and Bonnie Kimmel, 5666 Sheridan Road, Poland, and the son of Janet and Dr. Christopher Shoemaker of Poland and Jeffrey Markey of Columbiana.
A reception followed at the Alpine Room in Enon Valley, Pa.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. They are living in Stow.
A strapless A-line gown embellished with crystals and pearls was worn by the bride. It featured a cuffed satin bodice, and the skirt and train had an organza overlay.
Heidi Kimmel was maid of honor for her sister, and bridesmaid was Kelly Loftus, the bride's cousin.
The duties of best man were performed by Ryan Ruth, and groomsman was the groom's brother, Jason Markey. Keith Welton, the bride's cousin, was usher.
Mrs. Markey is a graduate of the University of Akron with a degree in early childhood education. She is an instructional technology teacher with Streetsboro City Schools.
Her husband holds bachelor's and master's degrees in accounting from Ohio State University and is pursuing a juris doctorate at the University of Akron School of Law.
