XBOARDMAN -- David Cornelius and his bride, the former Dana Ulrich, honeymooned in Negril, Jamaica, after their July 24 wedding at Boardman United Methodist Church.
The couple exchanged nuptial vows during a 5 p.m. ceremony solemnized by the Rev. Ashwin Welch, and a reception followed at the Holiday Inn.
The bride, a daughter of Richard Ulrich, 39 W. Main St., Canfield, and the late Dorothy Ulrich, and the groom, a son of Wayne and Jane Cornelius, 5581 Loretta Drive, live at 20 S. 18th St., Pittsburgh.
Crystal beading adorned the strapless white gown worn by the bride. It featured a sweetheart neckline, basque waist, A-line skirt and a sweep train.
Black gowns were worn by Joy Bailey, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Elizabeth LaBella, Michelle Unger, Janet Bosack, Jennifer Marnich and the bride's sister-in-law, Christy Ulrich. Flower girl was Ashley Cornelius, the groom's niece.
Serving as best man was the groom's brother, Wayne Cornelius Jr., and groomsmen were Brant Zemelka, Chris DeRamo, Dave Esbenshade, Tom Parshall and the bride's brother, Bic Ulrich.
The bride graduated from West Liberty State College in West Virginia with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She is employed by North Allegheny School District, Pittsburgh, as a teacher at Pebbles Elementary School.
The groom, a chief financial officer with Marcegaglia USA Inc. in Pittsburgh, earned a bachelor's degree in accounting at Ohio State University.
