Purpose
Robert H. Van Sickle started the Van Sickle Foundation 10 years ago to help children with special needs who often slip through the cracks of medical assistance. The foundation purchases special items required for ill or disabled children in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties.
The foundation is comprised of an all-volunteer board of local business leaders, and 100 percent of all funds raised are used for children in the three-county area.
