Corporation declares
third-quarter dividend
YOUNGSTOWN -- United Community Financial Corp., holding company for Home Savings and Loan and Butler Wick Corp., declared a third-quarter dividend of 7.5 cents per share, payable Sept. 15 to shareholders of record Aug. 31.
Better Business Bureauto give Torch Award
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Better Business Bureau serving Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties is accepting applications for its annual 2004 Torch Award competition. The Torch Award recognizes for-profit retail and wholesale businesses for making a commitment to ethical business practices. Businesses must be in good standing with the BBB to be nominated, but BBB membership is not required.
Application deadline is Aug. 31, and a local recognition banquet will be in October at Mr. Anthony's banquet center, Boardman. Application details are available online at the BBB Web site: www.youngstownbbb.org.
