Aug. 17
Harassing phone calls: A man at a residence in the 300 block of Bradford Drive said he has been receiving harassing phone calls over the past several weeks from an unidentified man who called at least nine times.
Aug. 19
Theft: A man who lives in the 100 block of Queens Lane said he hired an electronics company to work on his stereo equipment. Employees of the company removed the items to be repaired from his home six months ago. An amplifier was taken and has not been returned. The victim said that he does not owe the company money and that he has tried to contact representatives of the company for four months without success.
Aug. 22
Mutual aid: Police responded to assist Mahoning County Sheriff's Department on a call for a burglary in progress in the 4000 block of South Turner Road. A neighbor saw a man kick in a basement window and climb in. When officers arrived, there was no one in the house.

Criminal damaging: A rear window of a truck cab was broken out in the 5000 block of Norquest Blvd.
Theft: Money was taken from the Eagles hall, 1665 S. Raccoon Road.
Criminal damaging: A mailbox was damaged in the residential 70 block of Omalia Drive.
Theft: A power tool was taken from a residence in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.
Theft: A ladder was taken from the 5000 block of Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: A lamppost was damaged in the 20 block of Placid Boulevard.
Theft: A purse with a checkbook and miscellaneous items was stolen at GNC, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged in the 1000 block of Mulberry Run.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at Target Heating, 3730 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: An Ohio license plate for a trailer was stolen from Checkered Express, 3700 Oakwood Ave.
Theft: A bank bag with money in it was stolen from Pasquales Pizza, 4225 Mahoning Ave.

Drug offense: An Austintown woman was charged with possession or use of marijuana, cultivating marijuana and using drug paraphernalia. She was found in possession of a marijuana pipe and rolling papers.
Burglary: A lawn mower was stolen from the 4000 block of Burkey Road.
Burglary: A screen was cut for entry but nothing was taken at a residence in the 6000 block of Harvest Ridge Drive.
Aug. 18
Theft from auto: A concrete saw was stolen from a residence in the 2000 block of Elm Trace Street.
Theft: Money was taken from the 400 block of Westchester Drive.
Theft: Narcotics were taken from a residence in the 700 block of Ohltown Road.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged in the residential 4000 block of New Road.
Wallet missing: A wallet that turned up missing at the BP station, 5502 Mahoning Ave., contained a McDonald Fire Department badge.
Theft: A woman was arrested in a theft at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: A mirror was damaged at Best Western, 870 North Niles-Canfield Road.
Aug. 19
Aggravated menacing: A man was a victim in the residential 1000 block of Woodgate Street.
Theft: PlayStation games were stolen from Game Crazy, 5225 Mahoning Ave.
Attempted auto theft: A door lock as pulled from a vehicle in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Court.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was scratched at the Upstairs Lounge, 4500 Mahoning Ave.
Aug. 20
Theft from auto: A door lock and dash were damaged and a CD player was stolen from an auto at Checkered Flag parking lot, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: Entry was gained through a kitchen window in the residential 600 block of North Four Mile Run Road.
Criminal trespassing: A man was jailed at Mahoning County Jail after trespassing at Compass West apartments.
Aug. 21
Criminal damaging: Charges were pending against five males, some of them juveniles, for damage at Lou Ida Boulevard and state Route 46.
Criminal damaging: Wiring on a vehicle was damaged at an apartment in the 300 block of North Meridian Road.
Criminal damaging: A mailbox was damaged in the 5000 block of West Webb Road.
Breaking and entering: Entry was gained through a south door at Dale Cleaners, 4409 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was scratched at a residence in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Drive.
Theft from auto: Numerous items were stolen from a vehicle at the EconoLodge, Seventy-six Drive.
Aug. 22
Receiving stolen property: A juvenile was placed in the Mahoning County Juvenile Justice Center for driving a stolen auto. He was caught in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle window was damaged at Alpine Motors, 220 S. Meridian Road.
Lost or stolen plate: A front license plate was lost or stolen in the township.
Theft: Linens and cleaning supplies were stolen at Motel 6, 5431 Seventy-six Drive.
Menacing: Threatening calls were reported at a residence in the 3000 block of Rebecca Drive.
