BELOIT -- The West Branch Local School District will host a hall of fame weekend Sept. 17 and 18, beginning with a tailgate party and an open house in the new Beloit K-8 building before the varsity football game against Canal Fulton Northwest.
The building will be open to the public from 5 to 7 p.m., and the five-year reunion classes from 1964 to 1999 are invited to host tailgate parties in the middle school parking lot. After the game, the West Branch Alumni Association will host a reception in the Community Athletic Building.
The association and the hall of fame committee will host a golf tournament Saturday at Westville Lakes Golf Course. Those seeking more information about any of the events should contact the superintendent's secretary, Mona McNeely, at (330) 938-9324.
