XYOUNGSTOWN -- St. Casimir Church was the setting at 2:30 p.m. July 17 as marriage vows were exchanged by Patricia Dolores Cika and Daniel Martin Froehlich. The bride is a daughter of Dolores Cika, 4900 Logan Way, Hubbard, and the late Andrew Cika. Mr. Froehlich is a son of John Mark and Patricia Froehlich, 1097 Rinacas Corner Road, Shenandoah, Va.
The Revs. Fred Lukehart and Matthew Pawlikowski officiated, and a reception was held at the Avalon Inn in Howland. The newlyweds honeymooned in Grenada and are living at Fort Bragg, N.C.
A satin A-line gown was worn by the bride. It was designed with spaghetti straps and featured a rum-colored inset and sash.
Her sister, Sandra Cika, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Cynthia Paskur and Aundrea Heschmeyer, also her sisters, and Shannon Maynard. They wore antique banana-colored gowns. The bride's nieces, Millie and D'Ella Heschmeyer, were flower girls.
John Froehlich was best man for his brother, and groomsmen were the groom's other brothers, Paul and Charles Froehlich, and his cousin, Brian Lucy. Drew Heschmeyer, the bride's nephew, was ring bearer, and junior usher was Auggie Heschmeyer, also her nephew.
The bride graduated from Ohio State University and Catholic University of America for Law. The groom is a graduate of the University of Virginia and the College of William and Mary. The couple are captains in the U.S. Army having served with the 82nd Airborne in Afghanistan and Iraq. They are lawyers at Fort Bragg.
