XYOUNGSTOWN -- Melinda Anne Miletta and John T. Miller Jr. were married at 2 p.m. July 17 at St. Columba Cathedral.
Parents of the newlyweds are Bruno and Shirley Miletta, 5280 Kennedy Road, Poland, and John and Ruth Miller, 154 Circleview Drive, New Middletown.
Monsignor Lawrence Fye officiated, and a reception was held at The Georgetown in Boardman.
The couple honeymooned in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, and are living at 1557 Walker Mill Road, Poland.
The bride wore a two-piece gown of light gold satin designed with a corset back, full skirt and chapel train. It was enhanced with embroidery, Swarovski crystals and beading.
Sandy Laboy was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Jennifer Fusillo and Billie Jo Wright, the bride's cousins; Nicole Nicolaou; and Sarah Miller, the groom's sister. They wore periwinkle, gold, sage, pink and lavender gowns. The bride's daughter, Jayda Benson, was flower girl.
Best man was Kevin Root, and groomsmen were Ryan Seman; Tim Schrode; Steve Miletta, the bride's brother; and Larry Haag. Ring bearers were Jake and Julien Bacon, the bride's cousins.
Mrs. Miller is studying business at Youngstown State University and is assistant office manager with Bolt Construction Inc. in Youngstown.
Her husband attended YSU and is a superintendent with Bolt Construction.
