KRISTIN JURUSMICHAEL KING
XCORTLAND -- Kristin Marie Jurus, 356 S. Hazelwood Ave., Youngstown, and Michael Glenn King, 2215 Henn-Hyde Road N.E., Warren, were married by the Rev. Carl Kish during a ceremony at 2:30 p.m. July 31 at St. Robert's Bellarmine Church.
The bride is a daughter of Susan and Alan DeVault of the Hazelwood Avenue address and Michael and Janie Jurus of Boca Raton, Fla. The groom's parents are Robert and Patricia King, 213 Laurel St., Youngstown.
A reception was held at Mahoning Country Club, Girard. The couple honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominica Republic. They live at the groom's address.
The bride's white, A-line, halter-style gown was styled with a chapel train.
Nicole DeVault was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Emily DeVault, Amy Chiaberta, Lisa Jurus, Tina King and Ang Kearns. Junior bridesmaids were Michelle Jurus and Katie King. They wore sage-green dresses. Flower girl was Aleah-Marie Malleske.
Matthew King was best man. Groomsmen were Jim King, Tim King, Mark King, Chris King, Vaughn King, Michael Jurus, Alan DeVault, Dan Chiaberta, Drew Scarmack and Brian Panigall. Michael John Jurus was ring bearer.
Mrs. King graduated from Choffin Career Center and attended Youngstown State University. She is a dental assistant for Dr. Thomas G. Davison, Boardman.
Mr. King earned a bachelor's degree in education at YSU and a master's in education at Marygrove College, Detroit. He is a special education teacher in Mathews School District.
