Grants observe golden jubilee at celebration

XNEW MIDDLETOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. Harry Grant of 10393 Rapp Road were honored Aug. 21 at a party at Christ Lutheran Church in Struthers on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Hosts for the observance were the couple's children and their spouses, Dennis and Linda Grant of North Lima; Diane and Michael D'Amico of North Lima; Linda and Justin Jefferis of New Castle, Pa.; and Sondra and Gary Blackson of New Springfield. Eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild complete their family.
Mr. Grant and the former Joan Wilding were married Aug. 21, 1954, at Christ Lutheran Church, where they are members.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and retired in 1995 from Simplex Time Recorder Co. in Youngstown, where he was a service technician.
