Best Bets on TV tonight

A double feature offers "Bring It On" (3 p.m., USA), the popular 2000 movie about competitive cheerleading, followed by a video sequel, "Bring It On Again" (5 p.m.). Though fans of the original may find enough to interest them in the sequel, be warned that it uses a lesser-known cast, and stars Kirsten Dunst, Gabrielle Union and Eliza Dushku are among the missing.
"Tigers of the Emerald Forest" (7 p.m., Animal Planet) reveals the Panna region of India, which is home to exceptionally shy tigers that, although endangered, unexpectedly have shown some gains in recent years. This program reports on one expert's efforts to learn more about the elusive cats.
Encores of the reliable series starring John Thaw may be an appealing alternative for viewers not drawn to the Olympics. "Masonic Mysteries" (9 p.m., PBS) finds Inspector Morse himself a murder suspect. Next Sunday: "Infernal Serpent."
The summer reality show "The Casino" (9 p.m., Fox) is one of the few series consistently offering new episodes during the Olympics, including tonight, Monday and the season finale next Sunday. Tom Breitling and Tim Poster are the often-besieged co-owners of the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas.
"Insomniac with Dave Attell: Sloshed in Translation" (10 p.m., Comedy Central) takes the comedian and his late-night party travelogue to Tokyo to see what the Japanese do when they stay up all night.
The season finale of the British comedy "Da Ali G Show" (10:30 p.m., HBO) starring Sacha Baron Cohen and his three alter egos includes guests John Gray, author of "Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus"; economics adviser Charles Schultze; and Andy Rooney of "60 Minutes."
