XBOARDMAN -- Living in Avon following a honeymoon trip to Jamaica are Jon J. Pinney and his bride, the former Amanda Beth Edwards, who were married at 1:30 p.m. July 24 at St. Charles Church.
Parents of the bride are Richard and Karla Edwards, 5355 Nashua Drive, Austintown. The groom is a son of Rosemary Pinney of Boardman and John and Sondra Pinney of Las Vegas.
The Rev. Nicholas Shori officiated, and a reception took place at Mr. Anthony's.
The bride wore a strapless gown of candlelight satin. Gold and silver embroidery enhanced the bodice and hemline.
Cranberry gowns were worn by the matron of honor, Amy Smith, and maid of honor, Rebecca Ugran, as well as the bridesmaids, Kimberly Hildebrand, the groom's sister; Rebecca Essenmacher; Anne Marie McCollum-Bagley; and Andrea Massie.
Todd Pinney, the groom's brother, was best man, and ushers were Dr. Eric Hildebrand, the groom's brother-in-law; Dr. Peter DeSocio; Brian Mirasol; Jamie Floyd; Joseph Szyperski; and Christopher Colla.
A graduate of Mount Union College, Mrs. Pinney, holds a juris doctorate from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and is an attorney with the 8th District Court of Appeals in Cleveland.
Her husband graduated from John Carroll University and Cleveland Marshall School of Law. He is an attorney with Goodman Weiss Miller, LLP, in Cleveland.
