On sale now: Country music singer Trace Adkins will perform in a benefit for Lawrence County Fraternal Order of Police at 7 p.m. Nov. 13 in Scottish Rite Cathedral, 110 Lincoln Ave., New Castle, Pa. Tickets are $28. To place orders, call (866) 843-5023.
On sale at noon Saturday: Call Ticketmaster if you'd like to attend any of these concerts at Mr. Smalls Theater in Pittsburgh: Graham Colton with Kyle Riabko and Looseleaf, Sept. 15; John Butler Trio, Oct. 3; DJ Krush, Oct. 11; The Cramps, The Legendary Hucklebucks and The Gore Gore Girls, Oct. 12; and Galactic, Oct. 14.

On sale Monday morning: Ticketmaster will have tickets for Gov't Mule's performance at 8 p.m. Oct. 30 at Byham Theater, 101 Sixth St., Pittsburgh. Price is $28.
Canceled: The Blues and Barbecue Festival that was to be Aug. 28 at Chevrolet Amphitheatre at Station Square is off, as is guitarist Robert Cray's show Sept. 10 in Pittsburgh. Get refunds at point of purchase.
Musical memories: Soul singer Billy Preston will talk about his career at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the fourth-floor theater at Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Cleveland. Preston was a keyboard prodigy who performed at age 10 with gospel star Mahalia Jackson and toured with Little Richard. He was a regular on the 1960s TV series "Shindig" and a highly-sought studio musician who performed on The Beatles album "Let It Be" before becoming a solo star with songs such as "Will It Go Round In Circles." Cost is free for museum members, $5 for nonmembers through Ticketmaster.
