Firemen pose for calendar to help charities

Firefighters will sign autographs at the event.
WARREN -- Members of the Warren Fire Department will unveil the 2005 version of the Warren Fireman calendar at a release party from 8 to 10 p.m. today at O'Donold's Irish Pub & amp; Grill, Youngstown Road.
This marks the second fund-raising calendar published by IAFF Local 204.
The 12 firefighters featured in the new calendar were selected through an online voting contest with WHOT FM 101. Photographs for the calendar are the work of Diana Lynne Teachout and Matthew Santone of Diana Lynne Photography.
Of the 12 firefighters featured in the calendar, eight will be available to sign autographs during the release party.
"Anyone wishing to obtain autographs of the featured firefighters should attend the release party," said Chuck Eggleston, a firefighter and organizer of the fund-raising project. "This will be one of the very limited opportunities the public will have to secure autographs."
Calendar profits
Proceeds from the calendar will be donated to local charities and nonprofit organizations. In 2003, more than $8,000 was raised through the calendar project. The cost of the calendar remains $10, and the IAFF intend to match or exceed their 2003 outcome.
