AUXILIARIES
XDistrict Eight Auxiliary of the VFW will hold a joint staff meeting at 2 p.m. Sunday at Mogadore VFW Post 8487, 385 Randolph Road. Each program chairman will present information about promoting the programs for the 2004-05 year. All auxiliary presidents, chairmen and members are urged to attend.
CLUBS
XAmerican Hungarian Club will hold a picnic Sunday for paid-up members and guests. Those attending should take a casserole; meat will be provided by the club. Cost is $5 for members and $7 for guests. Reservations are required by calling Cindy Wofton at (330) 799-8111. The group will hold a business meeting at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the club house. Final plans will be made for the annual Heritage Day to be held Sept. 5.

XSt. Rose Quilters will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the parish hall kitchen in Girard.
SERVICE CLUBS
XGirard-Liberty Kiwanis will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Scenna's Family Restaurant, 1901 N. State St.
XGirard-Liberty Rotary will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the MetroPlex Centre, Liberty.
SUPPORT GROUPS
XD.A.R.E. has the following activities planned: Monday, dance lessons at 7 p.m. ($5) or biking on the trail at Kirk Road at 6:30; Tuesday, dance lessons at 7 p.m. ($5) or walking on the Mill Creek Park hiking trail from the doctor's parking lot on Route 224 at 6:30; Wednesday, short holes golf at 6:30 p.m. at Mill Creek Park or music at the Morley Pavilion, also at 6:30; and Thursday, picnic meeting at 6 p.m. at the Stitt Pavilion, Mill Creek Park.
XA Divorce Recovery/Support Group will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Tod Avenue United Methodist Church, 155 Tod Ave. N.W., Warren. Sessions will be held every Thursday. The group offers mutual support and is nondemoninational. A dollar donation is requested to cover cost of copies and refreshments.
