Questions, issues and options for the Nov. 2 general election ballot had to be filed with county election boards Thursday. It was also the deadline for a nonpartisan Mahoning County Court judicial seat, which is held by David D'Apolito. The list is unofficial until certified by the boards.

Campbell: A charter amendment to give city council the power to maintain a full-time fire department, to participate in a fire district, to participate in a mutual aid agreement or to purchase the service from another entity.
Campbell: A 5-mill, 5-year new levy for operating expenses to raise $353,250 annually.
Canfield City: Shall the city continue to tax net profits of S corporations?
Canfield schools: A 1-mill, 5-year new/renewal levy for permanent improvements to raise $429,358 annually.
Craig Beach: A 1.5-mill new levy for a continuing period of time for the fire department to raise $20,791 annually.
Green Township: A 0.7-mill, 5-year replacement for operating expenses to raise $40,903 annually.
Poland Village: A 3.2-mill, 5-year renewal for current expenses to raise $174,196 annually.
Sebring: Shall the village continue to tax net profits of S corporations?
Sebring: A 0.5-mill, 5-year renewal for recreational purposes to raise $18,095 annually.
Sebring: Charter amendment to hire a city manager based on his or her executive and administrative qualification. The village manager doesn't have to be a village resident, but must move into Sebring within six months of the appointment. No village council member is eligible for the job until at least two years after leaving council.
Sebring: Charter amendment to forbid council members to dictate to the village manager the appointment or removal of village employees.
Sebring: Charter amendment to have the park maintenance headed by a superintendent.

Cardinal schools (Geauga County and part of Mesopotamia Township): A 5.95-mill, five year additional levy to raise $1,606,100 annually for current expenses.
Girard: A 3-mill, five-year additional levy to raise $388,357 annually to provide money to staff and operate the city fire department.

The resolution to place this issue on the ballot is likely to be rescinded if the board of elections certifies Aug. 3 special election votes that resulted in voter approval of the tax.
Gustavus: A 3-mill, five-year renewal levy to raise $34,278 to provide ambulance, emergency medical service or both.
Howland schools: A 4.3-mill, five-year renewal levy to raise $2.5 million annually to avoid an operating deficit of school district.
Hubbard City: A 0.5-percent additional income tax to raise about $500,000 annually to build and equip a police facility and maintain and operate the police, recreation and street departments and other capital improvements, effective Jan. 1, 2005.
LaBrae schools: A 3-mill, five-year renewal levy to raise $240,467 annually to renovate and equip school buildings for school purposes and improving sites.
Lakeview schools: A 4.5-mill, five-year additional levy for emergency requirements of the school district to raise $1,145,245 annually.
