XFraternal Order of Eagles 3298, 1655 Raccoon Road, Austintown, will serve dinners from 4 to 8 p.m. All-you-can-eat fish dinners are $6.95; four-piece honey-dipped chicken dinners, $8; all-you-can-eat spaghetti meals with two meatballs or rigatoni, $5; homemade stuffed cabbage, $5.95; and pork chop dinners, $7.95. XHoly Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church will serve fish dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. at the church hall, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod, Spanish rice or haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries, coleslaw, string beans, applesauce, bread, and coffee or tea. The cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at (330) 792-1005.
SATURDAY
XCoalburg United Methodist Church, 1906 Wick-Campbell Road, Hubbard, will sponsor a chicken barbecue from 4 to 7 p.m. Customers may dine in or carry out. The menu also includes parsley potatoes, green beans, coleslaw, bread and beverage. The cost is $7 for adults and $4 for children. A bake sale also will be held.

XOur Lady of Hungary Church, 545 N. Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown, will hold a stuffed cabbage dinner from noon to 3 p.m. Sept. 12 in Cardinal Mindszenty Hall. Meals will also feature mashed potatoes, green beans, salad, bread and butter, cake and coffee. Cost is $7.50 for adults, $4.50 for children 6-12 and free to those 5 and under. Ticket are available only in advance at the parish office on weekdays or after Mass on Sundays until Sept. 7. For information call (330) 799-6829 or (330) 759-9454. Proceeds will be used for the improvement project of the church building.
XPleasant Grove Presbyterian Church, corner of Southern and Midlothian boulevards, will have a community corn roast from 4 to 7 p.m. Aug. 29. There will be all-you-can-eat corn and hot dogs, a piece of pie and beverages. Cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children under 12. Takeout is available. Proceeds benefit the building improvement fund.
XWestern Reserve Baptist Church, 8590 Hitchcock Road, Boardman, will sponsor a community luncheon from noon to 1 p.m. Aug. 26 Meals will feature chicken salad, tomato wedges, rolls and ice cream. A freewill donation will be accepted.
