HAPPY 100TH BIRTHDAY! Anthony Panza

Date of birth: Aug. 17, 1904, in Introdaqua, Italy, and came to the United States in 1920.
Residence: Autumn Hills Care Center in Niles.
Wife: Married Rose Bucci on Feb. 11, 1927. They were married for 68 years until her death in 1995.
Children: Frank Panza of California; Jo Ann DeGoey of Canada, Akron and Florida; and Gloria Sorvillo of Girard. Another daughter, Jean Panza, is deceased.
Grandchildren: Six.
Great-grandchildren: 12.
Career: He worked at General Fireproofing for 44 years.
Hobbies: Painting, flower gardening and playing cards. He also walked four miles a day until he was 94.
Celebration: A party will be held by the immediate family Sunday.
